Because finding the perfect mascara is an almost impossible mission, the Eyeko brand has had the audacity to launch an incredible service at Sephora. On the menu: a dedicated counselor who decrypts with you the texture and the brush most adapted to your eyelashes.
If you do not know Eyeko yet, that’s normal. Very famous in the United Kingdom, this brand that focuses on the beauty of the eye was only in its infancy since its launch in France in 2014. Yet its products cardboard overseas, where all makeup artist gets it. With her fame, Eyeko had even made it-girl Alexa Chung her muse.
As much to say that when it was discovered that the brand had just taken its quarters at Sephora, it was thought that it was the time or never to try these products whose reputation is not to be done.
But beware, we did not visit any Sephora. And yes, when we learned that the huge Champs-Elysées store housed a tailor-made service, we thought we could not decently miss it. Honestly, it was well worth the detour!
Our new favorite mascara
Once comfortably with our adorable “mascara editor” Cecilia, it explains that depending on the desired result and the natural curve of our eyelashes, we can test 13 brushes and 5 different textures.
A luxury that impresses us already.
After some tests, it is definitely dazzled by the first choice offered by Cécile (yeah, that’s an expert). Our eyelashes are perfectly curled and no paté on the horizon. So we leave with our sublime cabinet which also contains a nice mirror and a very useful little protective shield to avoid blunders. The little extra that makes us crack: it is possible to stick his initials on the box!
Obviously, we are still somewhat perplexed: will the result always be as beautiful when we carry out the operation ourselves? So, we get back to it the next day and oh wonder, there is no difference between the improvement of the previous day and that of the day (and moreover, it does not flow). In short, we just found our new favorite mascara (32 € services included).
For the moment this Bespoke Mascara Service is only available in the Champs-Elysées shop, but the success should undoubtedly be quick to the appointment and allow the brand to extend it to other points of sale of the brand.
